Our Maternity Package Plan

Our maternity package includes everything you will need during your pregnancy and delivery period, from gynaecologist consultation, medications, and tests to post-delivery care. Here are the complete details of what is included in our maternity package.

NST (fetal nonstress test)

is done to screen the heart rate of the baby and its reaction to movement.

Diet /Dietician counselling

Our expert dieticians will give you diet and nutrition plans and suggestions to ensure you get all the necessary nutrients during pregnancy.

All requirements for the baby

(diaper, clothes, tie-cloth, etc.) are taken care of by the hospital during the stay (2 days for normal delivery / instrumental delivery and 3 days for C-section)

Newborn screening test

This test is done to check for any health conditions in the baby’s body. Blood test, hearing screening, and heart screening come under this test.

Physiotherapist counselling

This includes simple exercises for relaxation and pain management during pregnancy.

Ante-natal education

These classes are conducted to provide information on diet, exercise, and other healthy pregnancy and labour practices.

Lamaze classes

(on registration). These classes are conducted to offer education on healthy birth practices, teaching healthy pregnancy, and safe and natural birth.

Fetal medicine consultation

Fetal medicine consultants give you a detailed prognosis of the baby’s health and steps to take to maintain fetal health.

Ultrasound investigations

These scans give you a detailed report on your baby’s growth and prevent us from overseeing any anomalies.

Vaccine cost of the first dose for the baby

(BCG/ Hep B/ Vit K/OPV).

Lab tests

FBS (Fasting Blood Sugar) test

is done to check for gestational diabetes in women who had high glucose levels in their urine during prenatal routine prenatal visits.

GTT (Glucose Tolerant Test)

or the glucose challenge test is done to measure how the body responds to sugar(glucose). This test also checks for gestational diabetes in pregnant women.

RBS (Random Blood Sugar) test

is done to examine the glucose levels in the blood. It is also done to check for gestational diabetes in pregnant women.

OGCT (Oral Glucose Challenge Test)

is a variation of GTT and is also done to check for gestational diabetes in pregnant women.

HBsAg (HEP B) test

Hepatitis B surface Antigen is a protein present in the blood of women with Hepatitis B infection.

VDRL (Venereal Disease Research Laboratory) test

is done to screen for syphilis in the body.

Routine urine tests

A routine urine test is conducted during prenatal visits to check for sugar, ketones, protein, blood cells, and bacteria in the urine.

Double Marker Test

This test is done to measure two markers in the mother’s blood: hCG and PAPP-A (Pregnancy Associated Plasma Protein-A).

Haemoglobin Electrophoresis

This test identifies abnormal haemoglobins such as Hb AS, AC, SS, SC, and A2 in the body.

CBC (Complete Blood Count) test

A routine urine test is conducted during prenatal visits to check for sugar, ketones, protein, blood cells, and bacteria in the urine.

Rubella IgG & IgM test

is done to assess rubella immunity in women before, during, and after pregnancy. It also identifies if pregnant women had recent exposure to rubella.

HCV (Hepatitis C Virus) test

is done to screen pregnant women for hepatitis C.

TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) test

is done to check for thyroid diseases in women. Free T3 testing is available for women with low TSH, and free T4 measurement is available for women whose TSH values are outside the trimester-specific reference range.

HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus)

test is done for pregnant women to check if they carry the virus in them. If so, women are given the required treatments and medications to avoid passing the virus to the baby.
